Our Commitment

OTFInsider is committed to making our website accessible to as many people as possible, including those with disabilities. We believe everyone should be able to read about Orangetheory workouts, find studios, and engage with our community regardless of ability.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.

OTFInsider is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content do not fully meet the standard today, but we are actively working to improve.

Accessibility Features

We have implemented the following accessibility features:

  • Semantic HTML with proper landmarks (header, nav, main, footer)
  • Skip-to-content link for keyboard users
  • Descriptive alt text on all meaningful images
  • Proper heading hierarchy on every page
  • Accessible form labels (visible or screen-reader-only)
  • High color contrast that meets WCAG AA standards
  • Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements
  • Keyboard navigation for all interactive elements
  • ARIA labels on icon-only buttons
  • Responsive design that works at 200% zoom
  • Page language declared via html lang

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some content may not be fully accessible:

  • Some older blog posts migrated from our previous platform may contain images without descriptive alt text. We are reviewing and updating these.
  • Third-party content embedded from other services (such as social media or maps) may not meet the same accessibility standards we apply to our own content.
  • Interactive maps on studio location pages provide visual location information; we provide the same information in text form on the same page.

OTFInsider is designed to be compatible with current versions of the following assistive technologies:

  • VoiceOver (macOS, iOS)
  • NVDA (Windows)
  • JAWS (Windows)
  • TalkBack (Android)

Combined with the latest versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge.

Formal Approach
